I've got a bt home hub and found that the new device setup page, that appears in a browser when you first connect a device was the cause of the issue i logged in and turned this off - this fix is only for BT.
Is this still happening to anyone else? Just bought Destiny 2 and I get this issue all day yesterday, and again all today. BT is a british internet provider and the homehub is failed to download configuration files from bungie modem, it was a setting in my modem that I changed and it fixed it.
I logged in and disabled this welcome page on my router. Not sure this helps but it's something worth looking for. Don't have that setup here, but it gives me a few ideas about my own router, let you know if it yields anything good.
